Flex cracking of MLCCs

One of the causes of flex cracking in MLCCs (Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors) is the static bending of a PCB, which in turn is caused by mounting point tolerances. With a statistical analysis we can calculate the probability of exceeding a certain strain limit based on the statistics of mounting point deviations.
